How do i get rare items/be rare?! Tips and tricks on how to do so!

Hey guys!

I wanted to make this post about how to become somewhat rare


1. Don't put items on trade unless you are absolutely sure that you want to trade it off. Believe me! I have put good stuff on trade got a tempting offer and regretted accepting.




2. Play adventures, especially the eagle adventure! I'm not trying to brag, but I have gotten den betas and glitched nerd glasses before. If you aren't member, try playing return of the phantoms hard mode.





3. Get advice before accepting/sending a trade! You don't want to be sending an overpay trade or accepting an underpay trade!






4. Always avoid those darn scammers!!







5. Don't send overpay trades for in demand items. Eventually, the item will no longer be in demand.





6. Keep a good trading reputation! If people know you are a scammer or only accept overpay or only send underpay, no one will want to trade you!

The Truth about my Animal Jam past...

Hello all. So, today i want to tell you a bit more about my past. My animal jam journey first started about hmm, almost two years ago? It was pretty fun. At first, I played very little. Perhaps, maybe, twenty minutes a day. I knew nothing of the rare items, such as spikes, beta fish fountains, open signs and the list goes on and on and on. I started playing more and more, and eventually saved up for my first AJ membership. I became so hooked, i would play for hours on end. I started getting rare items. Pirate swords, top hats, den betas, rare bows, etc. The obsession for rares became too much. I actually scammed a few times. I dont remember their usernames, but i regret it. And for what? Pixels. In a pixel world. Soon, i had a spike collar. Then, two. Then i got a few wristbands (not from scamming, btw. I never scammed that hardcore). I asked my friend if she wanted to come to my house. Of course she said yes. At the end of this playdate, i asked her to log on aj. I hacked her as soon as she left. I had it all. Top hats, spikes, scarecrows, beta wallpapers. For some reason though, i didnt regret it much at all. She found out soon, that some person or another had hacked her. I was wearing my spike. She knew it was me. I didnt admit it. Ever. Then i hacked some other people and such. I just.. dont know why.. Why i would do that. I never felt guilty about it, i became heartless. And to those of you who i hacked or scammed, I am sorry. I really am. I was so stupid for doing that. I dont know why I would ever do that, I really am truly sorry. I learned my lesson. RARES DONT MATTER. FRIENDS DO. In other words, rares < friends. To this day, i have no interest at all in becoming as rare as i was.

So... Its been a REALLY long time (sorta) since I have posted or been on AJ. I have not been on aj for a while because, well, two words. Middle School. I just don't know..

Guys, I don't know if I should continue playing animal jam? I mean seriously. When I first started it was really fun and people were not as greedy and desperate, oh so desperate, for pixels. Same in the beta days. Now it is not fun whatsoever.. I see more than twenty scammers A DAY now. Everyone is obsessed for rare spikes, founders, headdresses, and hate whoever doesn't trade theirs or who has a lot of them. These "rares" just ruin you. First, you get like one spike collar. Then you want more. You keep getting more and more and are willing to hack and scam innocent people just for your pleasure. I have had numerous, I mean, I cant even count how many people have tried to scam me.. It is just freaking ridiculous! So well um, I've decided! I am not going to return to AJ. (Well, I MIGHT)

Rare cupcake hat For RIM

Hello! The rare cupcake hat was the RIM this week. I know, I am a bit late to post this, but who cares.

 This looks especially great on Lions, penguins, wolves, and Arctic wolves. The great thing is that it is for all jammers. This rare was released in the past. I guess they are re-releasing RIM's now? Have any other RIM's been re-released before?

The True Rarity #2: Long Spiked Collars

The rarity of spikes is confusing. I think I have the rarity of them. *Note this is my opinion, so don't get mad at me if you believe otherwise*

The rarity of Long Spikes is this: Black, purple, blue, red, green, yellow, orange.
Here is the worth of each:

Black:

This is worth either two or three good collars (purple, blue, red) or three or four bad collars(green, orange, yellow, pink)

Purple:

This is worth any two (good) longs, except black.


Blue:

This collar is worth one long red and one or two long wrists.


Red:







This collar is worth either one green collar and some good betas or green and add a good color long wrist and a den beta.

Green:

This one is worth two short collars, orange and yellow. Or a yellow long and a den beta.


Yellow:

Yellow is worth about a long orange and add very good.


Orange:

Orange is worth Short yellow collar, short yellow wrist, and purple mech helmet.

12 scams and hacks that are used in AJ

Hi! Today I will be telling you some of the scams and hacks that are used on AJ.

1. The Gift scam:
One of the more obvious scams. So here is what someone will do: They stand in Jamaa Township for a long while and ask for gifts "because they got scammed'' or ''they're poor''. And usually they leave if someone says ''Where's the proof?!" So, don't fall for these obnoxious scammers, and don't send them gifts.

2. The Try-on scam:
Wow, how obvious! So pretty much, someone asks to 'try on' your outfit. Don't give them the items. They will, most of the time, un-buddy you, and run off to their den or someplace.


3. The Trusting scam:
The scam that bothers me the most. So someone puts something horrible on trade, such as a necklace, and says 'Trust me I don't accept!'' and they expect people to trade them spikes and stuff! Use common sense! Why wouldn't they just trade for the item?

4.the contest scam:
So, somebody will say ''best gift/trade wins rare item!!" So this 'contest' will go on for a long time and nobody will actually win, so yeah.

5. Get that item from him! I will trade rare item!:
So this scam is a newer scam I have seen. So they will be all like 'get his wreath! will trade rare spike for it!' don't trade them anything for the bad item! They will run off once some unsuspecting person trades them good items.

6. The membership code scam:
Someone will say "Best gift gets lion code!'' Obviously a freaking scammer! The AJ rules clearly state not to give away membership codes or any account information.

7. The "gift me I gift back better!'' scam:
Don't gift them. They will not, I guarantee will not, send back better. They just want good stuff out of unsuspecting little kids.

8. Send me this I send you that scam:
So someone says "Send me ______ I send you  ______! Don't send. Why wouldn't they just trade?

9. It's my b-day scam:
Someone says its their B-day and to send them gifts! Don't send 'em anything! They are all lying when they say it is your b-day. Even if it IS your b-day don't go around begging others for pixels.

10. Send me gifts I send back gem code!:
Don't send them gifts, just don't. They just send expired codes, or codes that most people know.

11. "Free item" website hack
These sites are REALLY BAD!! They ask you to put in your username, your PASSWORD, and the item you want. Do not put in this information! The person(s) who run the site will hack you and take all your good stuff, sometimes even BAN you!

12. My User and pass for urs hack
They say they will give their username and password for yours. It is never a good idea to give your password out to anybody, except your parents!

The True Rarity #1: Founders Hats

The Founder's Hat is a very rare item in animal jam. It came out just after the beta. Along with Founder's Hat being in stores, all beta testers were given a free 30-day membership. Some people may be confused about the rarity and worth of Founder's Hats and other items, so every week I will post about the rarity of an item. Here is a picture of the Founder's Hat:

 

This is a Founder's hat, for people who don't know what it looks like. Based on what I have seen on animal jam and read on some other blogs, the worth of one is four long spiked collars. Long black, long purple, long blue, and long red.
